Welcome to The Helsy Bentota, where tradition meets tropical paradise. Nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka, our story begins with Peter’s passion for crafting exceptional, authentic meat products and farm-fresh delicacies. Inspired by his English roots and love for quality.

The Helsy offers a true British dining experience, using ingredients sourced from our very own farm and beyond. From homemade sausages and bacon to hearty classics, every dish celebrates flavor and craftsmanship. More than just a restaurant, we are a community-driven venture dedicated to creating unforgettable culinary moments while supporting local livelihoods.

Food from our menu are cooked using the finest and the freshest ingredients like milk and butter sourced locally and most of our meat products like ham, bacon, sausages, cheese, steaks are made fresh daily in our bakery. Vegetables, fruits and some herbs are from our own garden, what we don't or aren't able to grow are purchased from local vendors.
